LTL is back with another Artist Spotlight!

We’re covering a rising Nashville star in Noah Garner! A transplant from Florida, Noah started playing music at age 6 and has been hooked on music since his days riding around with his grandfather singing along to the radio.

Noah spent his teenage years touring around venues in the Florida Panhandle, and got his chance to audition for American Idol in Tallahassee. Noah passed through to the Executive Producer round and gained some valuable experience and big stage chops in the process.

After completing high school, Noah made the big move up to the Music City and has been performing around town, impressing crowds with his deep vocals and energetic stage presence since.

As an artist, Noah pulls plenty of inspiration from his musical heroes, and cites Eric Church as an artist he particularly admires. On Church, Noah says “His writing is unbelievable and he stays true to himself!," and Noah’s budding career as a singer-songwriter will seek to mimic someone like Church, a Southeastern kid who moved to NC to jumpstart his singing career.

Moving to Nashville put Noah right in the middle of one of the best music scenes in the U.S, but of course, everyone needs a little luck. Noah had his fortunes changed with his very first performance in Nashville. He got his shot at Whiskey Bent. Noah still remembers Big Rick at the door letting him in to perform at the ripe age of 17, with that small act of kindness being a big moment in his career. From that chance encounter, Noah turned into a fixture at bars all across town, boasting a soulful country sound whether performing covers or originals.

Noah also has a heavy investment in charity work, volunteering with special needs children, and working with several non-profits that allow terminally ill children fulfill their wishes to see Nashville. Noah feels it's not just his responsibility to give back, but working with children is a source of real joy in his life.

Music has allowed Noah to see the country while performing with legends like Lonestar, Jason Michael Caroll, and John Rich, from Colorado to New York. Noah is back in Nashville working on his originals while performing around town. Catch him at Johnny Cash’s, and Nudies, among others -- you can keep tabs on his shows through his calendar on Local Talent Live.
Noah has recently been in the studio, working on the release of his EP, Spring Break Town, which released earlier this month! You can see it on Noah’s YouTube Channel.

You can listen to Noah’s music wherever you stream or catch him any given night at a great bar in Nashville. Follow his page on LTL to keep up with where he is playing, and make sure to Stream Spring Break Town!

Other favorite originals from Noah include Gotta Get To You and Why Whiskey.

LTL has taped Noah performing his Mom’s favorite cover, Kenny Chesney’s Somewhere with you; and if you see Noah, make sure to request a little Eminem Lose Yourself, especially if he is performing along side Ben Parker on Bass Guitar!
